William Zei

William Zei's Bio

William Zei is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and County Court Mediator and as a litigator was AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  After starting his mediation practice in 2007, Bill quickly developed a reputation as a preeminent choice for the mediation of complex and difficult cases.

Bill is a graduate of St. Thomas University and received his J.D. from the University of Miami. During his college and law school years, Bill worked as a sports journalist in South Florida.  Upon graduation, he embarked on a 30 plus year career as a trial attorney, concentrating his practice on medical malpractice, other professional liability, and complex and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases.  He was the managing partner of a 30 plus attorney firm for the last 13 years of his practice. 

Bill and his wife Cathy were married in 1978 and have two children.  In addition to mediating, he is a former member of the development board of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and School, and past Chair of the board of trustees of Chaminade-Madonna High School.
